How to change your plan
- Log in to your FMPHost account dashboard
- Click Upgrade Resources next to your server
- Select the new plan, disk size, or memory tier you want
- Review the prorated cost and confirm
Your server will restart briefly — typically under 2 minutes — to apply the change. Your databases and data are not affected.
What can be changed independently
- Disk space — increase or decrease without touching your memory allocation
- Memory (RAM) — increase or decrease without touching your disk allocation
- Hosting plan tier — different plan levels include different bundled resource allocations
How prorated billing works
Changes are prorated based on your billing cycle. If you upgrade halfway through the month, you pay the difference for the remaining days at the new rate. If you downgrade, the credit is applied to your next invoice.
Not sure what you need?
Your dashboard shows your current resource usage. If memory is consistently high or disk is getting full, that is a clear signal to upgrade.
