We are sorry to see you go. Here is everything you need to know about the cancellation process.
Before you cancel — save your data
- Download your databases: Log in to your backup destination (Dropbox, Google Drive, SFTP, or Nextcloud) and download your
.fmp12files. You have access to all 7 nightly backups. - Export any data you need in other formats: If you need your data in a CSV or other format, export it from FileMaker Pro before your account closes.
How to cancel
Submit a cancellation request through your FMPHost account dashboard or open a support ticket. Your account will remain active through the end of your current billing period.
What happens after cancellation
- Your server and all hosted databases are removed from our systems after your account closes
- Backups stored on third-party destinations (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.) remain in your account — we do not delete files stored on services you own
Is there something we can fix first?
Many cancellations happen because of an issue that has a solution we have not had a chance to suggest.
