We make migrations free, low-risk, and as smooth as possible. Here is how the process works from start to finish.

Step 1: Start a free 15-day trial

No credit card is required. Your new server is ready within minutes of signing up.

Step 2: Send us your database files

Upload your .fmp12 files via our secure file transfer, or share them through Dropbox or Google Drive. Include any plugin files, SSL certificates, or scheduled script exports if applicable.

Step 3: We set everything up

We install your database, configure plugins and schedules, verify backups, and make sure everything is running correctly.

Step 4: Test in parallel

Your new server gets its own hostname right away. Your existing server stays live while you test — there is no pressure and no cutover deadline until you are ready.

Step 5: Switch your users over

When you are satisfied with the new server, update your users to connect to the new hostname (or update your DNS if you use a custom domain). The transition is instant from their perspective.

We typically complete inbound migrations within one business day. If you are moving from FileMaker Cloud, we handle that regularly too — just let us know and we will walk you through exporting your databases from Claris Cloud.
