Using External Container Files

We fully support both embedded and external container field files.

However, in order to upload the external container field files, we need you to embed them in your database as our control panel only allows .fp7 and .fmp12 files to upload.

Once the database is uploaded, you can connect remotely with FileMaker Pro and re-externalize the files again.  This will make sure the links to the files are maintained in the database.

Each backup of your database will also included the external files within in the .zip archive.
